Contest-The Lace by Vibram Disc Golf Giveaway...

Tell me in as many words as you want why you should get the new Lace. You can make it funny,sad or just plain stupid but keep it clean. I will then pick the winning post and announce it on the show Nov. 20th. I also will read the post on air so make it good.

I felt the cool breeze drift over me, standing next to the tee. I noticed a box of Cheez-it's had suddenly appeared in my hand, I decided to have a few. Mystical powers over-took me. Suddenly Steve Dodge had appeared before my very eyes. He handed me a disc and then spoke in a growly voice," Be the lace." I wasn't really sure what this meant, but I didn't really care.

I proceeded to throw the disc on a slight hyzer, it soared and soared through the air, promptly landing right next to the hole on #8, a significantly long throw. As I was walking towards the disc, I couldn't believe it! I would of taken a photo in a thong holding a current newspaper to throw such distance again.


and then, I awoke.

From an amazing dream that needed to become reality, the only way to make it happen is to throw the lace again, but without the possession of said disc, how can my dreams ever fully be realized?

I am a dedicated intermediate player. Absolute middle ground power, decent accuracy and putts. I have been playing for 5 years, bitten by the bug after my first time. Went through the plastic addiction for quite some time, still in fact addicted but the symptoms are under control now. Somewhat. Use a Sole as a putter and love it.  Been pestering my local DG store for awhile about the Lace.  Can't wait to try it.  Why pick me?  Over the last 2 months since I discovered DGTR, I've D/L'd and listened to ALL of the podcasts.  That's dedication my friend.  How 'bout a hook-up to say thanks?

First of all, I love Vibram, they are the most durable discs. I deserve the discs because I am trying to get all of my kids involved in the sport and getting a Lace would go a long way to teaching them the game.  I think the disc would be perfect for my son.  Plus I am a fan of Disc golf radio

Hi, and thanks for this opportunity! I have just re-discovered the joy of DG after about a 12 year absence.
I found my old box of discs in the closet when I was packing up my things due to a divorce, and decided to return to the game.
I met up with a fellow member of another DG site for a game last week, and he was totally kicking my butt, in both distance, and accuracy.
At first I just assumed it was my long hiatus, but my opponent informed me that many advances have been made in disc technology over the last decade and change since I played, and that I really should get my hands on some "Modern Plastic". 

As I mentioned earlier, I just went through a divorce so money is pretty tight now, so this would be a great way for me to get a feel for the new stuff before next march when I'll finally have a bit of discretionary cash again (tax time!!!)

And as an added incentive to choose me, I am signed up as a volunteer to work on the course set-up for the "Throw Down the Mountain" tournament, which will be held at the property formerly known as "Gran Canyon". As volunteers, we will have the opportunity to throw a few practice shots on the new course, so your Lace can have a chance to be the first one ever thrown there!
Imagine the stories it will be able to tell all the other Laces around the campfire at the tournament!
It will be a legend among it's peers for decades to come!

So the way I figure it, this is absolutely "what is best for the disc" as they say, and it would be good for me too. It's the proverbial win/win!
